## In this lesson

Roy Osherove previews the third day: the group will take an open-source project that has no tests and is mostly static and write tests for it both without and with [Isolator](https://osherove.com/blog/2009/7/9/minimizing-unit-test-fragility-8-features-in-typemock-isolat.html "Minimizing unit Test Fragility – 8 features in Typemock Isolator to help (osherove.com)"), learning another [refactoring technique](https://livebook.manning.com/book/the-art-of-unit-testing-second-edition/chapter-3#ch03lev1sec5 "Variations on refactoring techniques (The Art of Unit Testing, 2nd ed., ch. 3)") on the way. They will also turn the practices discussed so far into a more formal set of things to look for, [review tests](https://osherove.com/videos/2011/2/6/how-to-do-test-reviews.html "How to do test reviews (osherove.com)") from open-source projects, and, if time allows, write tests for the participants' own code.
